Futball in Niger
We had our inaugural CURE futball (soccer) game yesterday on the empty back lot of the hospital grounds (we call it the “Stade de la CURE” or CURE Stadium, and it was a fantastic success!
EVERYBODY had a great time, and lots of laughter and a great spirit of camaraderie was present. Lots of talented players on our staff. Whew! This old body doesn’t move like it used to (maybe it never really moved much anyway in my younger years…). No bad injuries except me doing a face-plant at one point in the game…. embarrassing…
