About Adriany

Several years ago, Adriany's foot was run over by a car. The following operation that she had in effort to fix the crushed bones proved to not heal very well, leaving her with a large scar and a deformed foot. Her family thought that this would be the permanent outcome of her treatment until they found out about CURE and decided to investigate further treatment.Dr. Bridgeman says that he surely can improve her foot's condition by taking some bone from her hip and placing it in her foot and taking skin from her calf and putting it where all the scarred skin is. He first needs more information from his colleagues of how to best perform this surgery, so Adriany will come back in two months for her next appointment after we have more information for her and we will then plan the date for the surgery.Adriany and her mother were delighted to hear that there is in fact further treatment to better this foot and that Adriany won't have to live the rest of her life with this deformity in this very uncomfortable state. Soon shoes will fit her properly and she will have no more lingering problems from the accident.

Day 63 Adriany's follow up appointment has been scheduled for 06/19/2012 - Adriany will back in three months to discuss possible surgery options- right now the doctor needs to get more equipment from the US in order to successfully do her surgery.
