About Caristers

As Philister, Caristers’ mom, told me, when her eldest son first saw his little sister, he was so shocked that he literally had to step out. Other relatives came to him for mini counseling sessions, explaining that cleft lips and palates were treatable and that soon, Caristers would look like him. Now the “soon” timeframe has past, and she does indeed look like a whole new baby. And as we wait for her to get old enough for her palate surgery, I’m praying that her brother will simply accept what happened so that he won’t miss the opportunity to go through this process alongside her.

Day 306The ENT doctors will not be coming in April this time round, but they will be here in July. So i guess that means that we will not see him until June.
