A Charity Partnership with your company can bring about valuable social and commercial benefits. Commercially, it raises the profile of your organisation, showing it as a successful business that wants to make a positive impact on those less fortunate, while also increasing the personal and professional development of the staff.Socially, your company and stakeholders can make a real difference to the lives of others. By partnering with CURE, you would be helping to transform the lives of children in the developing world suffering treatable but debilitating disabilities. This can be achieved through raising awareness, fundraising, staff volunteering and gifts in kind. Our Corporate Partners recognise that there can be huge benefits for all concerned; the charity, the company and the individuals they work with. For more details on companies currently partnered with CURE, check out the ‘Partnerships’ page, from the ‘About’ drop down menu.
Reducing your Corporation Tax
Gifts of money made to a charity by your company should be paid gross – before tax is deducted. These donations are deductible from the total profits of your business when calculating Corporation Tax. Your company can claim relief as long as the donation is a payment of money that is not a distribution of profit, such as a dividend.Source: HMRC
Trusts & Foundations
Grants from trusts and foundations play a key role enormous part in the work that CURE does. These partners allow for many lives to be saved and changed, across the developing world.Creating self- sustainability is a fundamental element of our work. To-date we have trained more than 5.200 national surgeons and medical practitioners in first-world health care. It is through training we enhance the medical infrastructures of the countries that we serve.CURE is keen to build new relationships with trusts and foundations who, like us, desire to see ever more children healed from a life of debilitating and socially excluding disability. Some trusts and foundations have the ability to make grants for general funds. This allows us to strengthen our capacity and to respond to needs in dynamic environments. Other funders decide to support specific projects, allowing us to implement our strategic planning.Whatever your objectives are, CURE welcomes the opportunity to work with you. We are looking forward to building a strong working relationship with you and together, provide thousands of children with life-changing operations and a hope for the future. We are committed to providing high quality reporting on the impact that your grant has made.If you are a trustee or have links with a trust or foundation and are interested in finding out more about supporting CURE in this way, please do call the CURE office Tel. 0207 869 6965 or email us at email@example.com
