Chris Lavy
Professor Chris Lavy, OBE MD MCh FRCS is an orthopaedic surgeon in Oxford and the Chief Medical Director of CURE International. He spent 10 years in Malawi where he helped set up the Beit CURE Children’s Hospital there. He visits CURE hospitals regularly to help with training and research.
Alan Bell
Alan Bell has two main foci of interest - the relief of poverty (including health and education) and Israel-Palestine. Within CURE, he has a particular desire to see the establishment of the planned children's hospital. His career has been in investment management.
Verona Beckles
Dr. Verona Beckles is a senior registrar in orthopaedic surgery in London. She has spent a year working in the Malawi CURE hospital.
David Hodgson
David Hodgson is a management consultant based in London but visits Africa regularly, and has an interest in helping the disabled children of this continent.
Lord Simon Reading
Lord Simon Reading runs a business advisory service. He has been personally involved with the work of CURE for 6 years and has visited the hospitals in Afghanistan, UAE and Kenya.
